Supervision Meeting 2008 02 01
- My background chapter is at a good state if I just fill in the missing parts.
- Talked about how geo-tagging being a possible candidate for implementation in
Urørt. Microsoft had an interesting geo-tagging based prototype where
they seamlessly patched together pictures tagged with a certain tag and made
a 3-model where one could move aground in this high-fidelity representation
of the real world.
- The background chapter could both include examples from secondary academic
literature and real world applications that I compare.
- We decided that a large part of my thesis should be the work in relation to
SINTEF.
- Usability testing is hard and could be downplayed since I have quite a deep
analysis of social navigation in Flickr, and Facebook and Amazon in the
future.
Chapter 1, 2, 3, and 4 should be named as they are. Chapter 5 could be
implementation, chapter 6 could be observations.
- The implementation should work as a proof of concept for the findings I’ve
found on Flickr, Facebook, and Amazon.
- A new forth nightly supervision meeting time was set to Tuesdays at 11.00,
starting at the 12th.
